Here’s my Sample and Hold Based on the LF398 IC.
There’s a simple transistor based White Noise Circuit here as well.
It’s a simple enough circuit that you could build it on some pad-per-hole board pretty easily.
*I replace R6 with a 2.2M resistor. It increases the gain of the noise.
On the component placement that is the lowest 1M resistor underneath the LED.
